Honest and straightforward. I want you to know the cost of your jobs up front, before I turn up.
Fully transparent pricing
For odd jobs I charge a £75 call-out, which includes the first hour. After that it's £12.50 for every 15 minutes, which works out at £50 an hour.
A half day is a flat £175 and a full day is £300, which work out cheaper if you've got a long list or a bigger job.
So give me the whole list. Whatever fits in the time gets done, and a front door drying between coats is a good excuse to seal the bath and fill some cracks.
Larger jobs like painting, floor sanding or decking usually suit a fixed quote, because they involve planning, buying materials and more time to do the job.

Buying materials before I come
If you already know exactly what you need, like a length of skirting board or the shelves you've picked, buy it before I come. That saves you time and money.
If you're not sure, message me first. Turning up to the wrong materials can take longer to sort out than me just getting the right ones in, and that ends up costing you more. I'm happy to pick materials up.
The same goes for prep. If you're planning to get anything ready before I arrive, check with me first so it's done the way the job needs.

Can you do lots of small jobs in one visit?
That's the whole idea. Shelves, a sticking door, a picture, a bit of sealant. Send the full list and I'll work through it.
Which areas do you cover?
Walthamstow, Chingford, Leyton, Wanstead, Woodford, Tottenham Hale and Loughton. Just outside those? Ask anyway.
Do you work weekends?
No, I work Monday to Friday.

Yes, I have public liability insurance.
